Jean-Francois is agoraphobic, living out his life in a garage in Montreal. His beloved sister Sophie has just died. She had been his outline to the outside world and, now that she's gone, JF's future looks grim.
But suddenly a series of visitations occur - some miraculous, some upsetting. And hovering above them all is JF's guardian angel, Sophie. She must furiously orchestrate her brother's emergence into the wider world, before she disappears forever.
Writing with our Feet has been performed across Canada and was a finalist for the 1991 Governor General's Award for Drama.
