War on the Home Front by Michael L. Poirier

War on the Home Front delves into both worlds during the Second World War. The play portrays our men fighting over seas and life for the military at home. Camp Vernon is a training facility in Vernon B.C. Canada. The Colonel in charge and his staff have mixed feelings toward their duties during this trying time. Sprinkled amongst the hardships and sometimes humorous daily life in the camp is the reality of war, told by action in the field. Realities and truths are two of life's facts that are sometimes hard to accept.
