Pearl's mother has arranged for her to travel up north to visit her eccentric Great Aunt Birdie. Together Pearl and Aunt Birdie explore the natural world, but Aunt Birdie has another side to her and Pearl finds her visit to be both delightful and strange. In the end, Aunt Birdie has a few lessons to learn from her little niece Pearl. The play is a place where characters speak through musical instruments and the moon tells stories!
