The young Emperor discovers a magical Nightingale, who's singing cures his illness. Influenced by the powerful Music Master, he locks her up; when she escapes, he banishes her from his kingdom, but the loyal Maid and her beloved Fisherman help the Nightingale return to fight for the Emperor's life. Based on the Anderson fairy tale.
