John Leighton married his high school sweetheart and raised two fine children, a girl and a boy. His business savvy turned his small construction company into a world-class competitor on an international scale, but at a cost. John spent most of his waking hours dedicated to his business, missing out on most of the pleasures that children and family can bring. The children have grown up in his image and are ready to take the company reins. When John makes a secret trip to Denver and starts talking about retirement, suspicious minds immediately think of adultery. His wife and children confront John, only to find out that there are much worse things in life than infidelity.
