This tragi-comedy about creative integrity, autonomy and the right fit is an allegorical narrative of how the American Phillips screw gained domination over the superior Canadian Robertson screw due to capitalist distortion and raw ambition. Yet, the Robertson lives on, honoured by true (Canadian) craftsmen and women.
