One Brief Shining Moment by Dyanna Jacklin
Pete and Renee are getting ready to host a three-course dinner for Alan, the architect that is designing their new home and his wife, Broadway actor Allie. What the foursome doesn't know is that Pete and Allie were past loves and as they discover during the course of the night, still have some unresolved feelings and issues. This play starts out at the dinner party and flashes backwards in time as we see the events that led up to Pete and Allie's romance and eventual demise. It begs the question, if you had the opportunity to go back in time and change the past, would you take it?
