Three seniors find themselves at the mall each morning, having coffee, buying lottery tickets and putting in time. GADWALL takes an immediate dislike to STEW while BUD just wants everybody to get along. It is reveals that GADWALL took an early retirement after a highway accident while driving students although there were no injuries. STEW is facing legal action because of a workplace accident where a young man was crippled. The three men debate the nature of luck, the inevitability of death and what they would each do with a lottery win. Does anyone deserve to win? What's a man's responsibility to the children in his care? Can amends be made for past mistakes?
