This work is Intentional in its creative use of stage, gritty character development, complex relationships with visceral dialogue and plot twists & turns. By design, the playwright gives choices to allow actors and directors alike to highlight their craft. 

Set in a high school, this work explores themes including the intersection of small-town Canada and LGBTQ2S+, the limits of a mother's love, society assumptions, gender norms, the justice system's treatment of survivors, vengeance, law enforcement and trauma.
