Motherhood Madness and the Shape of the Universe by Kim Renders
This play is a monologue about one person's journey into parenthood, woven throughout this funny, touching, and sometimes terrified first-person account is the fable-like story of a young girl. The two narratives reflect upon and ultimately complete each other in a surprise ending. The piece is about moving from "I" to "we" and in the process, discovering a new way of being in the universe.
