Trudy only took her eyes off Sylvia for a minute, but that's all it took.
As Trudy's greatest fears are realized, she remembers how she met and fell in love with her wife 54 years earlier. Now Sylvia, suffering from dementia, has wandered off. Trudy, worried, scared, and exhausted, becomes defensive in the face of Officer Dunne's intrusive questions. Empathetic social worker, Marnie acknowledges Trudy's own suffering as primary caregiver and attempts to convince her to accept the help that is being offered.
