Hubris in Athens by John Demmery Green

In a crowded, open-air courtroom in 4th Century BC Athens, several hundred citizens meet for a special court session the day after the city's annual theatre festival, the Dionysia. Despite hearing four different lawsuits, the jury can't seem to pass judgement on a single one. Generation gaps, class warfare, xenophobia, apathy, and backroom politics all rise to the surface as the lawcourt descends into chaos. The result is a mess that perhaps even the goddess Athena herself is powerless to fix.
