Young Daniel has been diagnosed with a fatal auto-immune disease. His parents want him to live at any cost. Charles owns a fabulous garden which is threatened by a blight, and wants to protect it at any cost. The efforts to keep the garden and Daniel alive reveal the theme of the two parallel and converging stories - individual freedom and the sometimes tyranny of love.
