In the dark days shortly after 9/11, a middle eastern Canadian finds himself held in detention after he travels to the US. A lawyer has been appointed to his case, but she won't move forward until she can figure out what forces are moving behind the scenes and why he has been selected. Loosely based on the Maher Arar case.
