Creative Criticism by Michael L. Poirier
John Sarokowski is a sessional teacher at a university, he teaches creative writing. He has several plays floating about and jurors' plays for competitions as well as freelancing as a dramaturge. He supplements his income by doing renovations and odd carpentry jobs. He has had a rough ride in life, but has created most of his own problems. When a young, budding playwright hires him to critique a new play he has written, a bond forms between them, a bond of healing and awakening.
