Set in the Warsaw Ghetto, 1942, Children of Night tells the true story of Dr. Janusz Korczak, head of the Jewish orphanage and Adam Czerniakov, head of the Judenrat, the Jewish Council accountable to the NAZIS. When the NAZIS order the deportation of the Jews from the ghetto to the death camp - including the orphanage - a heated confrontation ensues between Korczak and Czerniakov, which sparks the famous Warsaw Ghetto uprising.
