Monica is freaking out following the disappearance of her cat Charlie. This leads to an argument with her husband , John, about what efforts should be made to find Charlie. There is another issue that lies beneath - Monica, who is in her late 30s, is two-months pregnant and has not yet told John. She has always wanted children but thought she couldn't have any. John, on the other hand, has grown-up children from a previous marriage, as well as plans for early retirement. Monica and John experience a turning point in their relationship.
