Aberdeen 1913 is about the little strike that had major implications on education in Quebec. In reaction to anit-semitic remarks allegedly made by their grade 6 teacher, five bar-mitzvah-age boys (12-13) led a peaceful one-day student strike at their elementary school in the working-class district of Montreal. Though long forgotten these student leaders had a major impact on future events.
