Bellies, Knees and Ankles
It could be a chance encounter, or serendipity, that brings four women together at a small town cafe. Each - a waitress, a mother and daughter and a lonely woman - has a secret in her heart and their meeting sets off a chain reaction that explores how we often filter what we see and hear through the veil of our own desires. Identities blur, choices must be made and the womanly features of bellies, knees and ankles takes on a significance the audience may be the first to know.

From the Journals of Harvand Cole
Harvand Cole is directionless and on the cusp of turning 30 when he puts out his thumb and hitches a ride on the Trans-Canada. The journey begins at sunset in the wilds of Northern Ontario. Everybody is on the move: Harvand, the Man Driving, the Woman on Her Back, the Walking Man; a happenstance meeting of politically incorrect characters that are either moving towards something or away from something.
Note: Strong language.
