Two More Mrs. Hicks and a Hot Dog! by Thomas J. Cahill
The play is set in Placentia, Newfoundland, during the early years of World War II. The play revolves around Mrs. Hicks who is struggling to make ends meet after her husband left her. She opens up a tavern and business booms due to the American servicemen stationed in the area. Soon, trouble erupts because of racism at the tavern among the U.S. soldiers.
