Matthew comes back home after years away in prison. Waiting for him are his wife and daughter. Although years have passed on the outside, time seems to have stood still inside the house. Or so it seems. As they navigate their new relationship all three struggle to understand the impact his arrival has on them. Can you really go back home? When you've been gone for so long, does home still exist? Is reintegration possible for any of them? And most of all, can they figure out the secret of the Starlings?
A workshop of a shortened version of the script was developed at the New Works Festival at the University of Alberta.
