Adapted from The Legend of Sleepy Hollow by Washington Irving.
Hallowe’en 1960, six actors perform their company’s last ever radio play after more than two decades on the air: an adaptation of Washington Irving’s The Legend of Sleepy Hollow. Torn between the network’s request for a family-friendly comedic adaptation and their own need for one last artistic triumph, some of them veer off the approved script. Doing so, they come to learn that Washington Irving didn’t invent the ghosts of Sleepy Hollow and that Ichabod Crane might not be The Headless Horseman’s only intended victim.
