Kate, a curator at a museum, takes on the investigation of romance as a personal and professional challenge. She soon discovers that matters of the heart don’t necessarily reveal themselves under the pressure of academic rigor. Kate’s love life spirals into a hilarious crisis just as her elderly mother rekindles a romance with a man she dated sixty years earlier.
