The Elves and the Shoemaker by Chris Stockton

Ezra and Charlie Wishniski are down on their luck and it's three days before Christmas. What are the siblings to do?! With the help of two elves, Cookie and Twinkle, shoe orders get mysteriously built overnight, giving the Wishniski's hope that they will be able to have a joyful holiday season. But when one of the elves leaves a hat behind, leading to them getting caught by the Wishniski's, the bad luck shifts to the elves who fear they won't earn their top elf shoes because they were discovered. With all four helping each other to be successful, the Wishniski's and the elves learn an important lesson about the power of giving during the holiday season.
