This play is a farce - a one act comedy which mocks the popular television cooking shows for their unhealthy cooking practices. Mario, a retired school teacher, has set up a recording studio in his recreation room and produces a successful weekly cooking show. His wife, Betty, disapproves of his excessive use of salt and sugar and the two are locked in an ongoing verbal conflict.
The wheels come off their relationship when they go to France to visit 'La Couronne', the restaurant where Julia Child had her first meal. Mario creates a scene at the restaurant, embarrassing Betty and getting evicted before heading to Paris. He then meets up with his sexy sous-chef returning to his hotel about 4 in the morning allowing Betty the opportunity to prepare a fatal cocktail to help him sleep. Betty returns without him and takes over the show before being arrested on suspicion of murder.
