Siblings Brittany and Jonathan are getting ready for Christmas morning and each believes that they can get the other a perfect Christmas gift. Once a little competition enters into the equation, the stakes are raised over and over again in an attempt to "out- gift" each other. In a tale based on the classic carol with a modern spin; The 12 Days of Christmas touches the holiday spirit of the whole family and reminds us that the best gifts come from the heart.

A mother who loves her kids dearly but also is not unaware of the fact they can be up to no good as well. Kind and fun with a hint of sarcasm. - Jonathan (8-10 years old)
The older of the two siblings. He is full of energy and wants nothing more than to be the winner of things. He doesn't want to cheat but he is willing to bend the rules. - Brittany (5-8 years old)
The younger sibling and always wants to prove herself as a viable adversary for her brother. She is all about the rules and can take thing very literal. - Dad (whatever age for a Dad makes sense)
The strong, silent type. Firm but fair and loving with a true "Dad" sense of humour. Completely OK with being the most cool while uncool guy. - Rhe (Pronounced "Ray" and is short for Rhiannon" - same age as Britt)
Brittany's best friend. A lot of energy but wants to be a supporter as supposed to the leader of the two. Wants to be included with everything. She thinks Mark is the bees knees. - Mark (same age as Jon, maybe a year younger)
Jonathan's best friend. Not always the smartest person in the room but where he lacks natural smarts he more than makes up for in effort.
It is important to note that regardless of the strengths or weaknesses of any of the characters, they are all treated as equals and accepted for who they are. The original casts have consisted of all adults with doubling, but Mom and Dad could be split out into separate roles.
