In this humorous act, VALERIE, an earthy, middle-aged woman, talks to an unseen man through her ensuite bathroom door. In this monologue, Valerie enjoys a bottle of wine as she paces her bedroom revealing much about herself and her life through her wit.
GETTING DOWN IN THE WORLD
JAKE is a fifty-something fellow relegated to living in the basement of his wife’s house. While JAKE is depressed and sullen, through this dark, humorous solo performance we learn how he arrived in this situation through his drinking, cheating and gambling.
LET THEM EAT COCONUT
ERNIE and RITA PLATZ find themselves on the lam in a rundown shack on a godforsaken island. We find out why they ended up there – on the wrong side of the law. The mismatched couple verbally spar as to how they got there and how they’ll survive. We laugh as they go at one another and enjoy them coming up with a solution to their predicament.
