Murder Bit by Byte is a Murder Mystery that takes a crazy, comic and critical look at the curious world of Crypto Currency. The play starts as The Mousetrap and ends up as Hamlet. In between is a zany journey through mayhem, madness and murder.
All is not as it seems at Pirates Roost. Don Chesky has inherited his Aunt Daphne's hotel on Oak Island, best known for tales of buried treasure, pirate artifacts and people who died looking for them. With his new wife Des, they have made their first big booking - a Bitcoin Symposium celebrating the ideas, concepts, principles and technologies that make up the Bitcoin community. It promises to reveal the identity of Bitcoin’s famous but illusive founder Satoshi Nakamoto. Guests arrive…a crypto analyst, a bombastic blogger, a widow and her lover, and the owner of BitChip Global. But hurricane Dorian cuts them off from the mainland. With only their handyman to help, Don and Des struggle to keep the symposium going. But great deception, secrecy and greed lead to deadly outcomes.
