Mother of Judas by John Kenwell

Mary is distraught because of the trial and crucifixion of her beloved son Jesus. Shimona, whose son sold Jesus to his executioners, is mortified by the actions and suicide of her son Judas.
While Mary reluctantly agrees to listen to Shimona's desperate plea for a favor that to Mary seems not humanly possible, the silver coins that were exchanged for the life of Jesus appear to possess a life and a power of their own.
