Helen leaves her small home town to attend her first year of university. She writes home to her best friend, Chris, telling him about enrolling in a class taught by an unorthodox professor who behaves inappropriately with her and about pressure from her first serious boyfriend who wants a more physical relationship than she is ready to accept. Chris replies with his own perspective on what she is encountering and how to deal with it. Letters Home explores the different ways that men and women view the issue of sexual harassment.
(Since the play is based on an exchange of letters, the actors read directly from the script during the performance.)
