Let it Slide is a two act play, for a cast of three with Hayes' brilliant, tight dialogue and a few moving powerful monologues. It is a play actors will love to perform.
Both acts take place in Katherine Styler's living room. She is a very successful actress around 40 years old.
Her husband, Sean Gibson, a year older is also an actor but much less successful. He is not doing well financially or mentally and has dealt with addiction in the past. They are separated and have been for some time, but Sean occasionally shows up unannounced at her house.
The first scene finds Sean asleep on Katherine's couch. Their relationship is amicable but complicated.
Their wealthy mutual friend, Zack Gould, a writer in his late 30's arrives with and a birthday gift for Katherine. A love triangle, or is it?
From Tarot cards to Russian roulette, the audience will be captivated and surprised by the ending.
