Lambs In Winter by Ray Rivers

Life is full of promise when we’re young. We are the lambs that go through the seasons of life, from that early sunny spring until we have to face the icy winds of winter. That winter for Tony, his wife Katherine, and best friend Richard arrives just as the world is going through the greatest financial crisis since the 1920’s. Failed markets and troubled relationships greet retirement for the everyday heroes of this play. And for some people it's impossible to leave the 60's behind.

Lambs In Winter will make you laugh, even as you see yourself reflected in the lives of one or the other of the characters. Lambs In Winter is a full length play, in two acts, and involving only five principle actors.

"Performed with nudity, zest and realism, Ray River’s comedic tale of sex and politics stares you right in the face – and tickles you, too."
-- Hamilton Fringe Review, 2010

"Enhanced & time-set via the music of writer Ray Rivers, this very adult play is both touching and visually  impacting, especially to those of us who can recall when Toronto’s Yorkville circa ‘64-‘65 was the Canadian version of Haight-Ashbury."
-- Ontario Arts Review
