Four women, Nina, Grace, Arty, and Daphne, embark on annual wilderness canoe trips that span three decades of their lives. From their twenties through their forties, the play follows their evolving friendships, personal transformations, and deepening connection to nature. Each trip strips away modern distractions and comforts, revealing raw truths, hilarious tensions, and poignant moments of growth. Each in their own way find their authentic selves.
With the wilderness as both backdrop and metaphor, Gorgeous Gallivanting Goddesses is a heartfelt and humorous celebration of resilience, womanhood, and the enduring power of friendship.
Gorgeous Gallivanting Goddesses premiered on June 15, 2023, at the Roxy Theatre in Owen Sound, Ontario, as part of a community production by the Owen Sound Little Theatre (OSLT).
