Assisted Living by David Laing Dawson
Anne, an aging widow and retired English teacher and actress, continues to live in the small family house, insisting on maintaining her independence. Katherine, her daughter, visits, delivering groceries and prepared, once again, to have that discussion about moving to an Assisted Living facility. She finds that her younger and troubled brother has visited earlier that week and has been unusually attentive to their mother.
