Mission: Explore the relationship between Quebec Jews and French-Canadians in the context of the Quebec nationalist/separatist movement of the late sixties / early seventies.
The separatist politician Rene and the football player Terry are at Drapkin's Designs to pickup dresses for their wives. The owner Max and his assistant Jenny split the guests, Jenny takes Rene. Jenny is a Holocaust survivor, Rene was with the American army when the Dachau concentration camp was liberated. This coincidence forms the basis of the discussion between Rene and Jenny about the future of Jews in a separate Quebec. The opening and closing scenes frame the discussion with a description of the horrors of the Holocaust.
