Two women do clown shows in run-down theatres. Agnes the though one writes their material and is excessively devoted to her every word. Marilyn the neurotic one is being stalked by a man who lives in her building, and she therefore has trouble concentrating. Their vignettes involve wicked but harmless murder, if not mayhem, but there could be real unscripted danger lurking nearby...
